Founder & Visionary
Ashit is a 3rd generation visionary family business entrepreneur and strategic business leader with over two decades of experience across international trading, wellness, and business development. A graduate of the University of Bradford with majors in finance and HR, he began his career with the Mayar Group, gaining extensive exposure to global markets including Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, Central & North America, and Oceania.
In 2004, he pioneered one of Delhi's first luxury holistic wellness day spas, as a members' only wellness club, laying the foundation for Amatrra. Blending ancient healing traditions with modern wellness infrastructure, he has created differentiated, purpose-led wellness experiences, driven by strong business acumen, strategic foresight, and a focus on sustainable growth.
Currently he is responsible to oversee the group's expansion through various initiatives like new markets and products to the international trading, wellness, family office amongst other initiatives.
Ashit is a member of the YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and New Zealand Forest Owners Association.

Many arrive seeking rest from the pace of life, only to discover that what they truly need is a deeper relationship with their own well-being. This insight has profoundly shaped my approach to wellness and continues to inspire the vision of Amatrra: creating a space where wellness is not an occasional escape, but a meaningful part of everyday life

From the very beginning, its vision was to make holistic well-being accessible within the rhythm of city life—bringing together ancient wisdom, restorative experiences, and modern wellness practices under one roof. Today, Amatrra continues to build on this legacy, reimagining wellness for contemporary urban living.
